The story about Moishe, and the rabbit story are virtually the same. Moishe was always at the Jewish church because he was the preacher there. The author would attend his services, until one day moishe was taken away by the Germans and was taken to Auschwitz. At the camp he did a lot of manual labor and was treated very poorly. After a while he was shot and left for dead. When he got back to the town he told his congregation about the horrors that he endured and nobody believed him. Just as in the rabbit story nobody listened to the little the rabbit, and eventually the bad things came took all the other animals. Just as in the book when eventually all of the jews are taken and killed. It is significant because if the people had heeded his warning they wouldn't be dead. It is crazy how changing one little decision could have changed their lives completely.
The mentor text that i chose was on the benefits of sports in today's youth. It was a lengthy and in my opinion well written essay. I liked the way the author implemented the TIEE method in his writing and he had supporting documentation that backed up everything he had to say. I chose this text also because it mirrored how i wanted my essay to be, in the matter of being grammatically correct and using the proper format for the paragraph and essay as a whole.

Some credit those changes for significant declines in teen driving deaths in the first seven months of this year.
This paragraph from the article best shows the proper use of the TIEE method, it has a strong topic sentence (In recent years Illinois has enacted teen driving reforms, many of them after the Tribune's "Teens at the Wheel" series in 2006 examined ways that fatalities might be reduced.) with a good introduction to the evidence (followed by solid examples of evidence. It's best to chose a topic that you are passionate about, That way you can have a clear opinion and stay with that opinion. Have a good topic sentence and address a couple contradictory statements that people could make. It is important to stay on the side that you have chosen, you cannot keep switching views. The main components that an argumentative essay requires are
